Had this lovely experience where the bar staff were friendly and we just clicked with Jack like he was family sharing stories over a couple of drinks that made the night memorable and the suite we got was ridiculous with its balcony and views of the river that just knocked my socks off
It wasn't exactly cheap but still palatable considering the room quality

My stay at The Clarendon was quite enjoyable, marked by exceptional hospitality and a well-appointed room. I appreciated the spaciousness of the apartment with a kitchen area, providing amenities like a washer-dryer and dishwasher. The location offered lovely views of the river and the mattress provided a good night's sleep. the dining experience was excellent, with a well-cooked breakfast and delectable dinner options, particularly the steaks and desserts.
The room felt a bit outdated, and there were minor maintenance issues.

I had a fantastic time here, especially enjoying the beautiful statue of Pocahontas just a short stroll away and the lovely Riverside Leisure Area, perfect for a relaxing walk by the Thames. the staff were friendly, which added to my overall experience as a solo traveler, although the room could benefit from better ventilation.

Consider checking the heating settings upon arrival to ensure a comfortable environment, as they may not be adjusted for the season.

The food scene nearby is definitely worth a mention, with Wood Shed serving up some top-notch bites just a stone's throw away! the riverside location adds a charming vibe to your stay.
The pics promised a balcony view, but nah—no luck there! the utensils were a bit dodgy and not enough for a proper feast. Slightly uncomfortable bed didn't help either.

Awesome birthday bash!
I recently booked a big family get-together for my mum’s 80th and we had the best time! The Sunday roast was super delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The manager, David, was so helpful! Just a bit cramped for dancing afterward, but we had a great time nonetheless.

The spacious two-bedroom apartment was a steal! Great views, tons of light, and it truly felt like a home away from home.
Felt very lucky to have found it, nothing too much trouble.

missingWrote a review on Aug 25river viewsdecent baroverheated rooms
The bar area offers a decent selection of ales, cocktails, and Scotch, creating a nice atmosphere for unwinding. Located right on the banks of the Thames, it certainly has its charm, despite the more industrial surroundings.
The room temperature turned into an unbearable sauna, making it hard to get a decent night's sleep. With thin windows, I could hear every shout and blast of music from events or parties down below. it felt like a concert rather than a hotel stay. the decor seemed tired, and the bathroom needed some attention—how hard is it to fix a shower head holder? On top of that, the breakfast left much to be desired with very limited options and a pretty uninspired full English that would barely fill you up.

Fantastic Views and Spacious Rooms
I had a delightful stay in a Double Room with a stunning view of the Thames. The room was spacious and well-decorated, making for a comfortable retreat. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with plenty of options to start the day. the hallway was quite warm during my stay, which could be improved for guest comfort.

The small double room was comfortable and pretty quiet, which was nice for a good night's sleep. The bed felt cozy, though it was just a small double, so a bit tight for two. decent for a quick stay, but the space is a bit limited. the bathroom had a strong smell of bleach that was pretty overpowering.
